The inevitable appointment to regenerate yourself by discovering the simple joys of life.
Mountain Biking: In a unique setting, where green pastures are reflected in the perennial glaciers of the Plateau Rosa, the Bike Park del Cervino develops through a variegated network of paths especially designed for bikers. A special lift pass and more than 100 km of downhill trails, boardwalks and wall rides created by the Cervino’s “biking patrols” characterise this magnificent fun area for lovers of fat wheel bikes. It has grown significantly over the last two years and is an irresistible destination for mountain bike lovers from all over the world. Its trails offer endless descents (one of them starting from the glacier) with record lengths and negative gradients. More info here
Trekking: Long trails that will lead you through the Valtournenche, always with an eye on the Matterhorn. Various difficulty level that will satisfy from the most experienced trekker to those who simply want to enjoy a day of silence and relax.
Rafting: Only a few kilometres separate Breuil-Cervinia from the Dora Baltea river, which, with its rapids will let you try amazing emotions and sensations never experienced before.
Golf: The highest 18 holes in Italy. Surrounded by a unique landscape with the Matterhorn always in the background, the PAR 69 green field, 5.300 meters long is one of the most prestigious fields in the Alps. It was one of the 15 fields who first joined the F.I.G. (Federazione Italiana Golf).
Summer Skiing: Skiing is also possible in the hot season on winter snow thanks to the height at which the entire ski zone develops, with 25 km of slopes, which make it the largest and highest summer skiable domaine in Europe (up to 3883 m of the Small Matterhorn).
The glacier (in the Swiss territory) can be reached from Cervinia in just over 30 minutes using the ski lifts and slopes. Cervinia and Plateau Rosà have become the training ground for the World Cup national and international teams. The slopes are ideal for the champions (on slopes reserved to them), but they are also suitable for less experienced skiiers.
Riders have the “Snowpark Zermatt” as go-to point, the largest freestyle facility (complete with big air) on a glacier
